Join Physical Therapist Chris Hebeler, for a practical workshop that blends Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and Yoga to reduce and prevent neck pain. In this workshop, you will learn different breathing techniques, exercises, and how to apply these principles to improve your movement patterns, relieve strain, and protect your neck and shoulders over time.
Through guided DNS and Yoga sequences, you will gain tools you can practice anywhere to ease tension and support neck health. Leave with a better understanding of your body’s mechanics and a refreshed approach to caring for your neck, especially valuable for yoga practitioners and anyone dealing with neck or shoulder discomfort.
DNS, or Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, uses developmental kinesiology and neurodevelopmental principles to evaluate and treat a wide range of orthopedic and sport related conditions. DNS emphasizes restoring ideal breathing patterns and function of the deep spinal and shoulder girdle stabilization systems to create quality joint mechanics through movement and to avoid overloading of joint structures. Its foundations parallel traditional Yoga asana and the natural progression of a physical practice.
