Baba Hari Dass offered a sequence of hand mudras to frame meditation practice—gestures to awaken focus before sitting, and gestures to ground and seal awareness afterward. In this workshop, we’ll explore how these subtle practices prepare the body and mind for stillness, and how they support integration once meditation is complete.
Together we will:
Learn Baba Hari Dass’s sequence of hand mudras
Explore how each gesture influences energy, breath, and awareness
Practice mudras before and after guided meditation
Learn a poem or prayer that goes along with the hand gestures to help deepen our understanding of their meanings
